Tidewater Fencing Club performs fencing demonstrations all across Hampton Roads. A demo usually consists of a brief history of the sport, an explanation of the modern protective equipment and rules, then several matches (bouts) between experienced fencers using electric scoring equipment. We have done demos in the past for pirate-themed Scouting events, city festivals, medieval themed parties, etc. for all ages, and it's always a blast for everyone involved.
