The lease for our facility will end this summer and we intend to renew. Unfortunately, that renewal will include a big increase to our rent and we will need to increase our fees to compensate. The new fees listed below will take effect on May 1st, 2026 to prepare for the rent increase in July. We will still offer various discounts like before. We will test the performance of these fees in May and June and make adjustments if necessary. If these higher fees will create a hardship for you to continue participating in club activities then please let us know so that we can discuss options.
We also plan to change the payment structure for our intermediate classes. Starting in May, we will discontinue the punch card system and switch to a pay-by-the-month structure, meaning you pay for the month and attend as many classes during that month as you can. This will simplify the bookkeeping and tracking for us, as well as eliminate the cost of printing the punch cards. We will still offer a bulk discount for paying for three months of classes in advance for those that wish to do so as well as families with more than one fencer taking the classes. Anyone with unused punches will receive a credit for future intermediate class fees based on the number of punches remaining.
